Critical Success Factors for Implementing Risk-Based Decision Making at a Large Refinery Site

This paper identifies and discusses critical factors that are important in effectively implementing risk-based decision making for corrective action. In addition, approaches are presented to address these factors. A corrective action project at an oil refinery is used to illustrate the ideas presented.
